IMPORTANT NOTICE CONCERNING SCHEDULES AND ENTRIES
TO SHOW HOLDING BODIES :
NATIONAL and PROVINCIAL SCHEDULES should be with ESA, for checking, 6 weeks before the EVENT.
Entries should close a minimum of 3 weeks before the EVENT
Entries should be on the Excel Format provided and sent for checking to the General Manager not less than 2 weeks before the EVENT.
RESULTS must be sent in Excel format to the General Manager ESA and Levies paid within 2 weeks of the EVENT.
FEI SCHEDULES should be with Robyn Sterley fei.admin@saef.org.za –
1* and 2* Schedules for checking 8 weeks before the EVENT and 3* Schedules for checking 9 weeks before the EVENT. (Once corrected/checked they still have to be sent to FEI for approval, which is not instant. They have hundreds from all over the world to check).
The CLOSING date for FEI Entries must be NOT LESS than 4 weeks before the EVENT.
Entries must be with General Manager ESA, for checking, in the correct EXCEL Format 3 weeks before the EVENT.
3* Entries must be sent to Robyn Sterley immediately after closing date for onward approval to FEI.
Results for FEI Events must be filled in on the correct Excel format provided by FEI, and SENT to FEI and ESA, within 3 days of the Event.
TO SHOWHOLDING BODIES AND COMPETITORS.
It is NOT for the Show Holding Bodies to correct or search for information that has been incorrectly entered on the Entry Form. This is entirely the responsibility of the COMPETITOR.
The Competitors and their horse/s must be registered with the ESA. This has to be done annually i.e. 1 August. Horses are required to have a Passport completed correctly and signed off by a Veterinarian and by the person responsible for the issuing of Passports in the Riders/Horses Province.
Athletes and horses intending competing at FEI level must be registered with FEI. This has to be done Annually at the beginning of the year i.e. January. Forms can be obtained from Robyn Sterley ( fei.admin@saef.org.za ) , who will process the registration.
If entry forms are missing information e.g. FEI Reg. Numbers for Athlete or Horse, or are incorrectly filled in they will be REJECTED .
N.B. ENTRIES WILL ALSO NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER CLOSING DATE.
ENTRIES FOR ALL EVENTS WILL BE ON LINE FROM 1 AUGUST WHEN THE NEW WEB SITE BECOMES OPERATIONAL and the system will not accept LATE or incorrect entries.
